And the unprecedented use of strong yet lightweight Carbon Fiber Reinforced Plastic (CFRP) makes it one of BMW’s lightest vehicles, further enhancing both performance and efficiency.

The BMW i3 is one of the fastest BMWs off the line. Its incredibly responsive acceleration is felt immediately from a standstill with 184 lb-ft of pin you to the back of your seat torque making for an exhilarating and exceedingly fun ride.

Manufactured in BMW's most sustainable auto plant, the BMW i3 production process uses 50% less energy and 70% less water — and that's just the beginning. The interior uses cutting-edge architecture and over 25% of renewable and recycled materials. Up to four passengers can enjoy its spaciousness—equivalent to the BMW 3 Series. Plus, the LifeDrive architecture allows for the B-pillar and center console to be removed, creating even more openness.

Surprised? You shouldn’t be. After all, this EV is a BMW.
